Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026

Corine is an AI personal assistant. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it goes, and what stays on your device.

What the app collects

Your requests — text you type, or voice you speak, which is transcribed for processing.

Contacts and calendar data, only when you grant permission and only to help fulfill a specific request (e.g. looking up a contact, checking your schedule).

Location data, only when you grant permission, to give context-aware assistance (e.g. answering questions that depend on where you are).

Corine does not require an account, so no name, email, or sign-in details are collected to use the app.

Where your data goes

To generate a response, Corine sends the content of your request — your text or transcribed voice, and any contacts, calendar, or location information relevant to that specific request — to a third-party AI service for processing. That service processes the request to produce a response; Corine does not control how long that service retains data on its own systems.

Beyond that per-request processing, Corine has no server of its own and does not keep a separate copy of your conversations.

What stays on your device

Your conversation history is stored locally on your device only. Corine does not sync or back up your history to a server — it does not have one to sync to. Uninstalling the app removes this local history.

Permissions

Microphone, contacts, calendar, and location access are each requested individually and only used when relevant to a request you make. You can review or revoke any of these at any time in your device's Settings; Corine will simply be unable to use that context for future requests until you re-enable it.

Third-party services

Corine relies on a third-party AI service to generate responses, and on your device's standard operating-system permissions (microphone, contacts, calendar, location) to access the data above. These are standard OS-level APIs, requested the same way any app would request them.

Children's privacy

Corine is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
