These terms apply to Corine ("the app"), published by Christophe Eyquem ("I", "me"). By installing or using the app, you agree to them.
What the app is
Corine is an AI personal assistant that answers questions and helps with everyday tasks, optionally using your contacts, calendar, or location as context. It's provided free of charge, with no account required.
AI-generated responses aren't always right
Corine's responses are generated by a third-party AI service and can be incomplete, outdated, or simply wrong. Don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or other safety-critical decisions without independently verifying the information.
Your data
Corine stores your conversation history locally on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. Fulfilling a request may involve sending its content — including any contacts, calendar, or location context you've allowed — to a third-party AI service for processing. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes its local data.
Service availability
Corine depends on a third-party AI service to generate responses. I don't control that service's availability, and can't guarantee the app will work if it's down, changed, or discontinued.
License
I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Corine on devices you own, for your own personal use. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app outside of official app store channels.
No warranty
Corine is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. I do not guarantee the app — or the AI-generated responses it produces — will be accurate, error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including from decisions made based on its responses.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the update.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France.
